Faith through Service
As Saint Matthew’s gospel tells us, Jesus said, “Amen, I say to you, whatever you did for one of these least brothers of mine, you did for me.” We are focused on strengthening our faith by serving our “least brothers”. Some of our event have included Operation Christmas Child, The “Souper Bowl” of Caring drive to support the Mercy Center, Blessing Bags, a campus wide event coordinated with RBC, as well as a Christmas Cookie Party and Ugly Sweater Contest. This year we hope to add a Diaper Drive in support of Madonna House and Child Care Resources, and resume the annual diocesan Youth Ministry trip to Six Flags!

When and Where
Our youth ministry program at Saint James is open to young people in grades 7 through 12. We meet two Sundays a month at 2pm in the Eck Center behind the church. Due to the pandemic, attendance at our meetings is available both in person and via Zoom.
